First Speaker of the Year

This is the time of year when our sleepy minds start to stir. Come to the Library on January 21st at 6pm and listen to Kelly Hammond. He will let us know how to get out of our comfort zones. We cannot be productive until we face a certain amount of conflict. We work through the conflict and we have learned and become productive. Come listen to what Kelly has to say. This may be just what you need to move forward. Perhaps this can be your New Year's Resolution "Enter into a productive New Year by stepping out of your comfort zone." See you here on January 21, 2016 at 6pm.

Thank You for Your Support

The Ripley Library thanks everyone for such a successful auction this year. This was the countless hours of work done by many many helping hands for our Library. For those of you who went out and pounded the pavement to get items.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! We could not have done this without you. For those of you who worked tirelessly to put baskets together, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! You are amazing. For those of you who helped haul baskets and items to the winery... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! I do not know what I would have done without you. For those who helped get the tables arranged and manned the tables at the auction.... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! For those of you who made separate baskets or baked goods for the auction... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! You made this auction so much better. For those of you who turned out for the auction... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! We would not exist as a library if were not for you. Events like these make me realize how much the library means to the community. It also lets me know that the community realizes how much the library means. What we can do when we work together is amazing. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for being such a great community.

Auction and More

There is a lot of new things here at the library.
First and foremost DON'T FORGET THE AUCTION Saturday November 21, 2015 at Noble Winery from 2:00 to finish. There will be the silent auction, then the live auction. We will be raffling off a beautiful hand made quilt and there will be a bake sale as well. There will be so much fun up there you don't want to miss it. Buy for yourself, buy for Christmas gifts. This is a great way to get quality items at a minimal cost and help out the library. SEE YOU THERE!!!

Secondly, we are collecting jello and pudding for the food bank. They are gearing up for Thanksgiving. If you can help out it would be greatly appreciated. Just drop off any jello or boxes of pudding that you can spare.

There is still room to sign up for Cocktails and Color Painting. This will be held here at the library on November 24th at 4:30-7:00 pm. Please sign up online at www.cocktailsandcolor.com

Be sure to check the Bookworm newsletter for all the happening things at the library.
